"omini" or HOMINI. DIGITAL AND ART IMAGE MEETING IN A NEW IDEA OF THOUGHT

In the effervescent scene of Malpensa and Linate airports, groups of explorers move with a single mission: to capture the essence of these dynamic places and transform them into virtual treasures for the whole world.

On the one hand, the "little men" of Google, young adventurers equipped with the Trekker, a system of portable cameras, are immersed in the corridors and boarding halls of airports. With a sharp pace and careful eyes, these modern digital Indiana Jones capture every corner, every detail, with the aim of enriching Google Maps and Google Live View with ever more detailed and immersive images.

On the other hand, the Homini of Boga Foundation, architects and designers with a heart imbued with passion, are dedicated to creating extraordinary spaces. With the same determination and care of their digital colleagues, they shape every environment with craftsmanship and creative vision, transforming places into an oasis of beauty and inspiration.

Yet, despite the differences in modalities and ends, both groups share a common mission: to give shape and meaning to the spaces we inhabit. If Google’s "little men" are dedicated to the digital mapping of the external world, the Homini of Boga Foundation are dedicated to the creation of inner worlds, rich in emotions and history.

In this dialogue between the art of digital cartography and the creation of physical spaces, deep and intimate connections emerge. Both groups, with their commitment and dedication, remind us that every place, whether real or virtual, is an opportunity to explore, discover and connect with the world around us.

And so, while Google’s "men" plough through the corridors of airports, the Homini of Boga Foundation shape their worlds. Together, they invite us to explore the infinite possibilities of transforming spaces and our experiences, thus enriching the very fabric of our existence.

"...quando il pensiero supera il gesto..."

the manifesto of the Homini of Boga Foundation, is an embodiment of deep reflection and creativity. It invites you to look beyond the simple action, to explore the boundaries of the mind and to shape the boldest ideas.

Revised on Google’s little men, this manifesto could mean abandoning the mere act of capturing images and instead embracing the power of vision. In addition to documenting physical spaces, they could aspire to capture the very essence of these places, to convey emotions and stories through their photographs.

As Fondazione Boga’s Homini shape spaces with their creativity, Google’s little people could turn digital cartography into an emotional and engaging experience.

Through the combination of technology and artistic sensibility, they could create virtual maps that not only guide but also inspire and enchant.

Thus, "when thought surpasses gesture" becomes an invitation to elevate the work of Google’s little men beyond mere documentation, transforming it into an opportunity to explore the creative potential of digital cartography.

In this way, they can leave a lasting impression in the digital world, offering an experience that goes beyond simply navigating the streets, but that leads us on an emotional journey through the landscapes of the mind and soul.
