Rajasthan - Table

Originally from Rajasthan (settemtrional India, on the border with Pakistan), in the nineteenth century, a child tatami took shape, evidence of an ancient tradition that speaks of comfort and simplicity. This piece, originally intended to lull the dreams of children, now finds new life as a living room table in urban homes.
Once, the table tatami welcomed a soft straw mattress, becoming a haven for sleep and for the imagination of children of India. Today, thanks to its crystal top, it transforms into an elegant presence in modern homes, bringing with it the charm and history of a distant time.
